File Hash Calculation
You can calculate an MD5 hash for each startup file – a unique “snapshot” of this file (the concept is similar to our fingerprints). An MD5 hash is a large hexadecimal number that looks like this: “a88bc4188aae5960534dd6d01ea07972” (0-9, A-F characters used).
Hashes are calculated automatically during startup scanning, if the corresponding option is enabled in the program settings or during online scanning regardless of the status of the hash calculation option.

You can search file information in our online database or simply in any search engine using calculated hashes as a search keyword. Due to the fact that hashes are unique for each file, you will find information on these files only. As a rule, these are forum threads related to computer security. This information may appear useful for deciding whether the file is “good” or “bad”.
