Double scanning for rootkit detection
The developers of our company have created a unique technology of double scanning. CESAM obtains information about the system registry in two ways:
- From the operating system – the work is carried out on the lowest level (more about low-level operations)
- Using the direct registry analysis technology without using OS functions.
After that the results are compared. If any data discrepancies are found in the results obtained by the above methods, this will definitely point to an active application using rootkit technologies (malware in the majority of cases).
